Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for leadership, strategic planning, and both financial and operational results while ensuring company standards, culture, ethics and applicable regulations and guidelines. The COO fosters a positive work environment to attract, motivate, and retain employees while working alongside other team members to make a difference in the lives of adults who have embraced the next chapter of their lives.
The ideal candidate will be an individual who exhibits confidence tempered with humility and an ability to develop both the community-based and HCBS facets of Ohio Living. Integrating the values of care, customer service, financial stewardship, innovation, integrity, leadership, and inclusion into daily decisions, the ideal candidate must exhibit a growth mindset and be approachable and relatable to residents, families, patients, board members, staff, donors, stakeholders and the greater community. This individual will interact easily with communities and departments throughout the Ohio Living family with energy and positivity and identify areas of potential growth for the organization. The COO will exhibit financial acumen and the ability to identify, motivate, and nurture team members in their career paths.
