Description
Job Title: Deputy Director, Medical ServicesLocation: Central, Hong Kong
Job Purpose
The incumbent will oversee a portfolio of health services: Western Medicine, Central Lab, Dental, Physiotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical Aesthetic, Nursing, and Home Care
He/she will be a key driver of our business revenue & profit, patient experience and fulfilment; a strong people leader to lead our clinical frontline team to facilitate continuous uplift and fully comply with our medical standard. The individual will collaborate with Director, Western Medicine and other leadership team peers to enable overall Quality HealthCare market leadership position.
Responsibilities:
Leading Medical Services (A portfolio of Health Services including Western Medicine, Dental, Physiotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical Aesthetic)
- Provide high level, cross-business line leadership to the team in center management, expansion and uplift to ensure KPIs are met, including commercial targets, customer satisfaction, etc.
- Lead strategic planning and execution to grow the customer base & revenue, in particular provide insights to enable the team to grow health service out-of-pocket business opportunity
- Assume overall ownership of operational efficiency, compliance and service delivery results across business lines with support by business leads and medical center managers
- Facilitate the team to transform their ways of working including but not limited to customer experience uplift, center configuration review and process automation
- Enhance service offering to meet evolving patient needs by working with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care
- Collaborate across different business lines to synergize the full potential of Quality HealthCare
Qualifications, Training and Experience:
- Degree or above in health care management, business administration or other social science subjects
- 20 years+ proven experience in healthcare management
- Strong ownership of business result and P/L management experience
- Proven track record of successful achievements in healthcare, retail or service industry will be a definite advantage
- Committed to enhancing customer centricity and operational efficiency
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people leader with a focus on team motivation and performance
- Strategic thinker with strong execution approach
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills, pro-active and resourceful to support teams on problem solving with timely action
- Analytical mindset with experience in process improvement
- Energetic personality and able to trill into details
Key relationships:
- Internal stakeholders - Business lines of Health Services, Health Insurance and support functions
- External stakeholders - Doctors, Business Partners, Government Organizations
Risk Management and Compliance Obligations:
- Responsible for understanding the risks, accountabilities, rules and processes associated with my role.
- Report issues, incidents and complaints in a timely manner.
- Understand the laws, regulations, policies and procedures that apply and ensure controls enabling compliance are built into documented processes and procedures
- Work in accordance with Safety policy, always applying safe working practices and procedures and comply with all instructions given about ensuring health and safety at work.
- Apply information security skills and / or experience to effectively and securely perform the required obligations of the organization
