As a Vascular Surgeon joining our growing clinical team, you'll play a critical role in shaping how we care for patients in skilled nursing and long-term care settings.
Position Overview
HealBridge is seeking a board-certified Vascular Surgeon to provide part-time vascular consultation and procedural care support for patients residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and Long-Term Care (LTC) settings across the (San Antonio or Houston) Texas market.
This role is ideal for an experienced vascular specialist who values schedule flexibility, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact for an underserved population. You'll operate on a flexible weekly schedule, rounding at SNF/LTC facilities and performing vascular procedures in an Office-Based Laboratory (OBL) setting. You'll collaborate with HealBridge Nurse Practitioners and Medical Directors as clinically appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Round at contracted SNF/LTC facilities, conducting bedside vascular consultations and evaluating patients with arterial insufficiency, venous disease, peripheral artery disease (PAD), diabetic foot complications, and related conditions.
- Perform vascular procedures in an Office-Based Laboratory (OBL) setting on procedure days.
- Provide clinical guidance on vascular wound management, including recommendations for revascularization, offloading, compression therapy, and amputation risk reduction.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Maintain the highest standards of compliance, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.

Requirements
Requirements
- Education & Licensure: M.D. or D.O. with board certification in Vascular Surgery (ABVS or equivalent); active, unrestricted Texas medical license in good standing.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical experience; experience with geriatric, SNF, or LTC populations preferred.
- Credentials: Current unrestricted DEA registration (Texas).
- Availability: Part-time; flexible scheduling coordinated with the HealBridge operations team based on facility census and clinical need.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver's license for travel between SNF/LTC facilities and OBLs.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation tools.
- Professional Skills: Strong clinical judgment, collaborative communication style, and a patient-first mindset.
